Well...
I just got back from PI.
I took my little sister out for a "bonding time", if you will.
We went out for lunch and then went to the mall and looked at stuff.
I bought her a shirt and I bought one shirt and got another one for 1 buck!
It's the big "Buy one, get another for $1" sale at JC Penny.
I was super pumped.
Why is it, though, that after I buy something, no matter how awesome it is, I always have buyer's remorse? I keep saying "Man...why did I buy that?" But I really did need it, and it was cute, but still... I sometimes get the feeling that I did something wrong.
It's all silly of course. I bought some nice stuff for a fairly low price...
So I need to stop kicking myself in the pants.
Nicole is the cutest person ever.
But I really kind of ignored her for the past 5 years...
I think it's because I viewed her as an annoying father-stealer.
Let me explain that: I was always daddy's little girl...I pretty much had him wrapped around my little finger...and then when I hit the teen years it kind of went away...
I mean. He is still a very generous and giving and loving dad... So my reasons for feeling the way I did were kind of dumb.
But now Nicole is nearing the teen years...and I feel like I have done her wrong by shunning her and having almost nothing to do with her.
So I had a free Saturday today and I woke up and thought "Hey. I think I'll take Nicole out today."
And I did.
I wish everyone new my sister. Like REALLY knew. She seems so quiet and shy, which she is at times, but she is such a doll and she is so kind and giving.
I love my sister.

Your sister is a very sweet person... When we had gym on Fridays, she was my favorite kid there! Little sisters are great... I never really liked mine for many years, there are close to 8 years between us so it was tough when I was little letting her into my space... but now she's pretty much my best friend!
hooray for sisters!
