Our fine four fendered friend...

A gentle breeze from Hushabye Mountain
Softly blows o'er lullaby bay.
It fills the sails of boats that are waiting--
Waiting to sail your worries away.
It isn't far to Hushabye Mountain
And your boat waits down by the key.
The winds of night so softly are sighing--
Soon they will fly your troubles to sea.
So close your eyes on Hushabye Mountain.
Wave good-bye to cares of the day.
And watch your boat from Hushabye Mountain
Sail far away from lullaby bay.

I plan on singing that song (Hushabye Mountain) to my future kids.
It's one of the most beautiful lullabys I have ever heard.

The Miss Presque pageant is tonight.
I talked to Nicole yesterday before she headed off to the dress rehearsal, and she and I prayed about the whole thing and we know that, whatever the outcome, she is going to do amazingly.

I pray that the audience would simply be awe-struck by the light of Christ that will be so shining through Nicole.

Her song is amazing. I may post it on my blog here. (I'm recording her singing it.)

I'm meeting dear ol' Dan for some Chopsticks (the best Chinese food EVER) before the pageant and then we'll head over to the high school together. Once we arrive at the highschool we will have the daunting task of saving an ENTIRE row of seats.

Perhaps he will sit at one end and I will sit at the other.
Or, maybe, I'll stretch my scarf across a bunch of seats.
I don't really know yet.

Okay. Now I have to see if I can tame the beast that is my room...

I like Chitty Chitty Bang Bang overall.

The bad guy really scared the crap out of me when I was little. And even a few years ago I still got the chills when I watched it or, when my siblings found out that he creeped me out, when my siblings mimicked him in front of me.
"Lollypops....and all for freeeee..."

*shivers*

Death comes in a sweet package.*

*-Mull that over for a while.

Haha, that's awesome.

If I were watching it on tape, I would do the same...
