I actually managed to wake up on time today. It's surprising seeing as how I was up until around 11:30 last night... Do you ever start reading a book and you can't put it down, but then all of a sudden you wake up, look at the clock, and you've been out for at least a good 15-20 minutes? Well. That was me. I'm trying to read 5 books at the moment. 2 of which are re-reads, but I love them just the same.
Here'sa da books:
1. The Hadassah Covenant - Tommy Tenney and Mark Andrew Olsen
2. Emma - Jane Austen
3. Boy Meets Girl - Joshua Harris
4. The Scarlet Letter - Nathaniel Hawthorne
5. The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy - Douglas Adams
It doesn't really make sense that I'm trying to read them all at one time, but hey, I can do it.
Though...I have been working on the last two for about 3 months now...
Happy 300th Birthday wishes go out to, MY man, Benjamin Franklin.

Shaniqua's Identical Twin
Searching for God Knows what is an incredible book...I just finished that one up a few days ago. Definately read Blue Like Jazz as well!
Those all sound like some pretty good reads.
Alas, I have no money to buy them at the moment, and the pathetically small library in PI doesn't have books like that...
Danielle, is For Women Only something I should spend my money on? Or should I simply borrow it from someone? (Assuming someone has it...)
I've been interested in reading Searching For God Knows What for quite a while now...
But hey, my birthday is in four and a half months...maybe I'll ask for all the books that I've wanted to read. Or...I could just borrow them from people. *Hint-Hint* ;)
Hello Rachelle, I have the book "For Women Only" I got it at Thrive and haven't gotten to it yet... I too have my list of books going and that isn't one of them right now. So if you want I'll bring it with me to church tonight (unless they cancel for weather) Saturday if they do cancel. So there you won't have to spend any money! Have a Great Day...
Aw, thank-you, Debbie! That's very kind of you! :)
However...about the book actually getting into my hands.
For some reason, I believe that even if church is not cancelled, I don't think that my mom is going to let me go tonight. But, I could be wrong. So, if you want to bring it just incase that'd be great too! :)
Okay, I will definitely do that, Danielle.
I'm thinking of dropping The Scarlet Letter...
For 1: I'm in like...the 6th chapter and it's still really not all that exciting
For 2: It's slightly dark...and I don't like that.
So with that book off the list I have more room! Yay!
Okay Rachelle I'll bring it and if your not there I'll bring it Saturday!
Thanks, Debbie!
i havent read any of those books! And i LOVE to read! hmmm..which one is the best so i can read it?
Danielle, I have read Through Painted Deserts and loved that too! I've read 3 Miller books. I just love his writing style. Thanks for the suggestion! I'll check it out!
I am super pumped at all the comments this post has created.
