I want to be a mythbuster

I just got done watching an amazing hour of Mythbusters. In this episode they tested the old proverb of "A rolling stone gathers no moss" (Confirmed); a myth that an unsuspecting scuba diver could be sucked up into one of those water carriers and then dumped on a forest fire (Busted); whether or not a vacuum cleaner could be turned into a jet engine (Busted); and, my personal favorite, whether a wine glass could be broken by the human voice (Confirmed).

It was absolutely hillarious seeing Jamie and Adam try to break the wine glass. Adam actually managed to do it with the help of an amp, but Jamie's voice was an octave too low. Then they brought in the ex-rocker Jaime Vendera. And he, after a few tries, was able to break it with simply his voice. No amplification whatsoever.

As the Mythbusters all cheered, I did as well. Actually, I started laughing and cheering.
It was awesome.

Last night my mom was put on-call so we called up my dad and asked him to bring home a couple of movies. So when he got home around 6:00 he had rented The Pacifier and The War of the Worlds. The Pacifier was hillarious, and I was totally not expecting it to be so. It was meant for "the kids" (my siblings), but my whole family ended up watching it. It was great seeing Vin Diesel in a role like that.

War of the Worlds was amazing. I was expecting it to be really lame and boring, but it surpassed all of my expectations. I'm not an especially huge fan of Tom Cruise, but he did a great job. And man! that Dakota Fanning is one great little actress! I would love to tell you my favorite part, but just incase you haven't seen the movie, I will refrain.

Well, today consists of some much needed organization in my room, watching the extras on War of the Worlds, and most likely church. Praise God that the weather is okay today....I was really getting tired of not being able to attend church functions because of stupid weather.
