I thought of something today...
It seems that these days people are so wrapped-up in listening to music than they are in making it. They buy albums, download songs off the internet, watch music videos on tv, listen to radio stations, attend concerts, but whatever happened to the lost joy of making music? All of these so-called "stars" of the music industry, in my opinion, do not even come close to comparing with TRUE stars Sinatra, Garland, Bennet, Andrews, etc. And, seriously, aside from movie scores, who last sat down and wrote a song that even comes close to comparing to Mozart's Sonatas? Chopin's Seasons?
It's just sad to me that the complex art of making true, good, thought-provoking music is slowly fading away...

People should write more music...wait wait NO! I'm wrong. People should engage in quiet prayer...intently listening and be inspired by the LORD to write...what He places on their hearts...the most beautiful songs...the songs filled with messages from the King. :)
